Prairie Plus members sipped and savored their way through a private wine and appetizer pairing event April 13 at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Orland Park.

The Spring Sip and Savor event featured tastings of the winery’s malbec and pinot gris wines, as well as bites of their carne asada flatbread and popular Over the Border Egg Rolls.

Michael Friar, a longtime server at Cooper’s Hawk, explained the wines to the attendees.
